Job Description

Salary £29,000 pro-rata per annum + benefits

Contract: Permanent (job share)  working 17.5 hours, 2.5 days a week

The South East has a strong cultural offer, being the home to many of the country’s leading arts organisations. We are looking for an experienced arts professional who recognises the strength of having a diverse arts infrastructure, understands the conditions required for artistic excellence to thrive and has the ability to broker successful partnerships.

Opportunities within the post include:

•   Taking a lead role for Arts Council England South East on the regional Legacy Trust project Accentuate, this 2012 programme has significant opportunities for Deaf and disabled artists to develop their practice and raise their profile and potential

•   Utilising specialist knowledge of working with Deaf and disabled artists to develop high quality opportunities for collaboration and production between regional and national companies and individual artists.

The Relationship Manager Diversity in Arts Practice will play an important role as we work towards delivering our goals within a tough economic environment. An ability to work in partnership and influence others will be essential assets at this time.

 

As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a assessment centre.
